About Kalaheo Chiropractic Medical & Wellness

I graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2007 after earning my undergraduate degree in biochemistry and mathematics from the University of Iowa in 2004. During nearly two decades in practice, I have continued to expand my knowledge through advanced training in pediatric and pregnancy care, rehabilitation, acupuncture, dry needling, extremity care, and soft-tissue techniques. I have been certified in acupuncture for more than seven years and frequently incorporate it into individualized treatment plans alongside chiropractic adjustments, therapeutic exercise, cupping, dry needling, and soft-tissue therapy. Every patient and every condition is different, so my goal is to offer a wide range of treatment options and find the combination that works best for each person. I have also completed three years of postgraduate training in extremity care, allowing me to more effectively evaluate and treat conditions involving the shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands, hips, knees, ankles, and feet—not only the spine. As a pediatric-certified chiropractor, I have extensive experience caring for children as well as expectant and postpartum mothers. I understand that patients of different ages and stages of life require different approaches, and I tailor every treatment to the individual’s needs, comfort, and goals. Rehabilitation is another important part of my practice. Although chiropractic adjustments can be extremely beneficial, some conditions also require strengthening, mobility work, and soft-tissue rehabilitation. I regularly help patients recover from whiplash, rotator cuff problems, knee injuries, back injuries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. I am proud to practice in Kalaheo and serve patients and families from communities throughout Kauai, including Kapaa, Lihue, Koloa, Poipu, Lawai, Kalaheo, Hanapepe, Kekaha, Port Allen, Ele‘ele, Waimea, Wailua, Kealia, Anahola, Kilauea, Princeville, Hanalei, and the surrounding areas. Jennifer Andrade is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a passion for helping patients achieve optimal health through a personalized, whole-person approach to care. She brings a unique blend of clinical expertise in hormone optimization, weight management, and functional medicine to the Kalaheo Wellness team.

Jennifer Andrade clinical focus areas include hormone replacement therapy (HRT/TRT), medical weight loss and GLP-1, peptide protocols, trigger point injections, platelet rich plasma, IV Therapy stem cells and longevity-focused medicine.

Dr. Andrade believes that true health goes beyond simply adding years to life — it’s about improving quality of life so patients can stay active, energized, and engaged in the things they love as they age. Her goal is to help every patient not just live longer, but live better.

Before practicing at Kalaheo Chiropractic & Medical, Jennifer cared for the Kauaʻi community across key local clinical settings, including Poipu Urgent Care, Kauaʻi Veterans Memorial Hospital (KVMH), and Wilcox Medical Center. A retired U.S. Air Force Captain with 23 years of dedicated military medical service, she also serves the island as a volunteer board member and lead medical trainer for Kauaʻi Search and Rescue (KSAR).

Bringing together high-reliability clinical standards, emergency readiness, and conventional medicine, she pairs evidence-based diagnosis with personalized restorative therapies—empowering patients across the island to overcome injury, reclaim their vitality, and stay fully active in the lives they enjoy.
